Who We AreQuality First Career Center
Quality First Career Center (QFCC) is a privately owned, for-profit minority school incorporated in the State of Maryland. We provide training programs for aspiring healthcare professionals, empowering individuals to pursue meaningful careers in patient care and support services.
QFCC was established in 2003 by founder Godfrey Ize-Ovia, who recognized the growing need for trained healthcare professionals and dedicated his knowledge and skills to creating a quality training center that makes a real difference in the lives of students and the communities they serve.
Our programs are open to individuals who are at least 18 years of age, regardless of race, creed, or national origin. We take an eclectic approach to education — keeping instruction stimulating and dynamic — so every student, no matter their educational background, specific strengths, or clinical experience, is fully prepared for certification and ready to enter the workforce.
Mission Statement
Quality First Career Center is committed to providing the best possible healthcare training and education. Our mission is to prepare Nursing Assistants — irrespective of race, creed, or national origin — to deliver competent, quality care to clients, and to help them secure employment in hospitals, schools, acute care facilities, group homes, and assisted living facilities.
Vision Statement
Our vision is to be a trusted healthcare training resource that empowers students to build rewarding careers in service to others. We strive to foster a learning environment where willingness, desire, and the ability to help those in need are nurtured — bringing great satisfaction to every graduate and those they care for.
